In many systems, graphics processing units handle complex rendering tasks, such as 3D graphics and video processing, reducing the load on the main CPU and improving performance for multimedia and scientific applications.Cooling mechanisms are vital to maintain safe operating temperatures. Fans, heat sinks, and in some cases liquid cooling solutions help dissipate heat generated by the CPU, GPU, and other components. Enclosures protect the hardware, manage airflow, and provide physical organization for cables and modules. Reliability, maintainability, and scalability are key design goals for hardware systems, especially in data centers and industrial environments where downtime can be costly.Overall, a hardware system is a carefully engineered combination of processing units, memory, storage, interconnects, and peripheral devices, all powered and cooled in a controlled structure. Its design directly affects performance, energy efficiency, security, and user experience across applications ranging from personal computing to large-scale scientific computing and embedded control systems.
